All of the weavings featured are woven by a combination of alternating stripes of paper satins and silk sateens. Two picks of lycra are woven before and after each stripe meaning when the woven piece is washed and finished the weaving creates ridges and waves of paper stripes. The weavings are inspired by the long horn of plenty mushrooms and the large and wavy gills of an enormous king oyster mushroom.
